One of the most valuable plastics for recycling purposes are the Milk jugs because of it's high-density polyethylene plastic. By recycling the milk container will extend the life of every community landfill, reduces transportation, it's operation and the costs of solid waste collection. Also reduces the consumption of hydrocarbon resources and the energy that would otherwise be required to produce new plastic and paperboard. You can also make crafts and decors coming from this jugs. Just be creative and have a playful mind will surely produce an amazing stuff.

ReplyDeleteI have always thought of recycling as getting rid of old milk cartons and tires to a recycling service. However, I realize, after looking at these pictures that recycling can be just reusing any old material for another productive purpose! Anything that reduces waste and re-purposes can be considered recycling.
