Shutters are such wonderful raw materials for a recycling project. One time, I found some old shutters in my grandma’s attic and I turned them into doors for her kitchen and entrance to her garden. The homey effect is just wonderful! And yeah, those ceiling shutters are pure genius!

I love these ideas! I'm looking to do something like the 7th picture down with "FAMILY" in between the two window. I'm not sure how to adhere the pictures to the glass, though. Any ideas?
