Unique ArtWorks Made from Recycled Clothes

Guerra de la Paz is the composite name that represents the creative team efforts of Cuban artists, Alain Guerra and Neraldo de la Paz who live and work in Miami, Florida. Gaining access to an overabundance of discarded clothing, they used clothes as their main unconventional materials to produce a series of beautiful and inspiring recycled art which are shown below. They create work with a universal message. Using recycled clothes as their medium and the guidance of the unrelenting amounts of information that fuels today's mass conciousness and it's subversive parallels.

People Pose in The Garbage They Created Weekly

America has a problem on garbage, almost double the load produced in 1960 and 50% more than Europe. An average american produces about 4lbs of waste per day, and the idea of Gregg Segal, a photographer from California, USA begins, his aims is to show garbage problem through powerful imagery, photographing his neighbors and friends lying in their one week load of waste. He called this project as “7 Days of Garbage”. He will continue to work on this in a series to guide people, recognize and take a little steps to lessen the unnecessary amount of trash they produce.
