By Shreyanka Mazumdar
Three fashion designers give expert tips on how to recycle your old clothes and carve trendy ones out of them, without spending a fortune.

                                               Beg, borrow, steal
Designer duo Dev and Nil opine that rather than making the rounds of roadside stalls to look for cheaper but trendy options, you can raid your own wardrobe or that of your family members. A little snip and a cut and you will get a whole new outfit.
Nishka Lulla and Falguni and Shane Peacock advise cropping your old denims into shorts and teaming them with printed leggings and a plain T-shirt.

A cut and sew in time

Recycled Old Toothbrushes

Used toothbrushes are so small as they are but certainly do create a lot of waste. In America about 50 million pounds of waste toothbrushes enter each year on a landfill, as the dentist recommend to replaced toothbrushes every three months, we'd be throwing even more of them away. There are so many endless uses for this, some are for cleaning purposes and some are for personal accesories. Take a look at your toothbrush, they are made of rubber and colorful plastic with inventive design engineering, packed into a small space. So colorful to create funky bracelets indeed.
